Most current prices where used for the following equipment:

5 gallons of Rodeo………………………………………..$ 260
Shipping to New Jersey………………………………….$   15
[Arborchem Products www.arborchem.com]

JK Injector Gun…………………………………………….$ 189.97
Extra Hopper for Gun……………………………………..$   26.95
Short Alloy Hardened Needle……………………………$  12.97
[JK Injector Tools www.jkinjectiontools.com]

I would recommend getting three hoppers for each gun ordered per volunteer.

I would also recommend getting three short needles per gun per volunteer.  The needles last for over 3000 stems with injection straight into in to the stem and removal in a straight line from the stem. Twisting of the needle greatly shortens the needle life.

We have learned that stem injection in New Jersey can commence in late March and extend until the ground freezes in the following winter months. Also, stems injected before August 15th in New Jersey will preclude the viability of the knotweed seeds.  Stems injected after this date may have viable seeds.

Goggles to protect the eyes are a necessity. If treating stems under a canopy of mature plants protective clothing is a necessity and my require the use of a protective face mask due to pollen and other dust on the leaves in the canopy above.

Tough vinyl gloves are also quite useful instead of more bulky gardening gloves.
